Angie, a California native, earned her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach, and further advanced her education with a Master's in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. With over 15 years of experience in HVAC accounting, Angie played a pivotal role in assisting a global HVAC supplier to implement a new pricing program, enhancing pricing accuracy.
Her career path took a dynamic turn when she moved into purchasing and accounting for the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery. In this capacity, she supported the Chief Administrative Officer and the Controller, focusing on the recording and maintenance of research funding and the procurement of major medical equipment. Angie was also instrumental in organizing an annual fundraiser that successfully raised over $1 million for neurosurgical research.
In 2015, Angie relocated to North Texas and transitioned into commercial real estate (CRE) accounting. It was through her CRE endeavors that Angie connected with Jeremy and Tammine Mercer, joining the team at Matador in April 2022. Angie values the personalized approach and investor-centric focus that Matador embodies.
Outside of her professional activities, Angie enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her four children. Whether it's watching sports, crafting new projects, or playing Roblox, family time is a cherished part of her life.
