Justin began his professional journey as a theft and fraud investigator, dedicating eight years to investigating both internal and external theft and fraud. His role involved conducting interviews, collaborating with police, and working alongside area retailers to identify and monitor organized theft rings while staying updated on local theft trends.
In 2012, Justin's path took a significant turn when he approached Jeremy about managing Pro Rehearsal Studios, a place where he was a patron. Despite having no prior acquaintance, Jeremy saw potential in Justin and offered him the role, mentoring him in commercial real estate and property management. This guidance eventually led Justin to a broader role at Matador.
Justin thrives on the unique challenges of property management, applying his investigative skills and creativity to solve problems and optimize property operations. He appreciates the diversity of issues and properties, which requires constant adaptation and innovative solutions.
Outside of his professional life, Justin is deeply passionate about music. He plays the bass guitar for his band, Paper Street. In addition to his musical pursuits, he enjoys outdoor activities and fishing. Justin and his wife are excitedly anticipating the arrival of their baby girl this fall.
