Matador acquired this property in June 2021. The opportunity was sourced through a local boutique Dallas brokerage, which identified this deal as part of a two-building portfolio sale. Although Matador acquired only this asset from the portfolio, it marked the first official acquisition by the company. The opportunity stood out due to its land component, featuring both crushed rock and fencing, as well as its location in a San Antonio submarket. Currently, the asset is leased to a national logistics company. While this property is slightly more tertiary compared to our other San Antonio assets, it represented a significant milestone for Matador and continues to exemplify the quality of assets we seek to procure.
